 Woodside Intermediate School was designated as a Professional Development School with Central Connecticut State University

The Core SRBI team from the State Department of Education named Woodside a school with "Best Practices as they Relate to SRBI". 

Channel 30 visited Woodside to see our exemplary Positive Behavior System. 

SERC, State Education Resource Center, has named Woodside a Model Site.  Staff members have presented across CT on our instructional practices.  Also, numerous schools have visited Woodside to learn first hand about our practices.

Woodside was 1 of 4 schools in CT selected by CREC, Capitol Region Education Council, to be featured in their promotional video.

“For our senior citizens, i.e., anyone 65+, I’ve made CPS Event Cards available to you at each of our school’s main offices and at central office. You can pick up your CPS Event Card by simply presenting an ID that shows a birthdate. This card will entitle you to free admission to any and all school sponsored events for the remainder of the 2011-2012 school year.”
